Our scope encompassed Carrier concealed DX air conditioning, architectural exposed ductwork and fresh-air ventilation, NFPA automatic fire sprinkler networks, and electrical & low-current systems—reflecting top MEP contracting standards in Cairo.

Turnkey Engineering Scope: Carrier Concealed AC, Architectural Exposed Ductwork & Fire Sprinklers

The engineering scope across Kamelizer 1 (District 5) and Kamelizer 2 delivered a bespoke industrial-loft MEP package: First, supplying and installing ceiling-suspended Carrier concealed fan-coil/DX units complete with insulated copper refrigerant lines and trapped condensate drainage networks. Second, fabricating and installing two distinct styles of architectural exposed ductwork: cylindrical Round Insulated Ducts with Circular Jet Diffusers engineered for high-ceiling double-height halls, and Matte Black Rectangular Ductwork with 4-Way Square Diffusers serving open workspaces and meeting rooms. Third, installing red seamless/ERW NFPA 13 fire fighting sprinkler lines and hose cabinets. Fourth, routing perforated electrical cable trays, suspended linear LED lighting, and CCTV low-current networks.

Site Challenges: Double-Height Thermal Stratification, Exposed Ceiling Aesthetics & Acoustic Comfort

The interior architecture of Kamelizer Spaces presented three critical engineering challenges: First, *executing exposed MEP systems across multi-toned industrial ceilings (a warm terracotta/rust steel ceiling in the double-height main atrium and a matte-black ceiling in the workspace zones). Van Tech engineers custom-finished all ductwork and hangers to match each ceiling's color palette while routing ducts and red fire sprinkler pipes with millimeter precision around large modern chandeliers and suspended linear LED fixtures. Second, overcoming thermal stratification in the glass-fronted double-height atrium while maintaining strict acoustic quietness (Low NC Levels) for focused office work and meeting booths; this was solved using vibration-isolated Carrier* units and high-throw circular diffusers, showcased in our on-site engineering video page. The exposed MEP infrastructure became an integral visual highlight of Kamelizer's loft identity.

Airflow & Acoustic TAB Commissioning Results & Handover

Execution at both Kamelizer 1 (District 5) and Kamelizer 2 concluded with rigorous Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) and MEP commissioning. Field verifications covered CFM airflow balancing across every circular jet and 4-way square diffuser to ensure uniform cooling between the ground floor, glass mezzanine offices, and private meeting rooms; acoustic Noise Criteria (NC) testing; and hydrostatic pressure testing of the Sprinkler Line fire networks. Complete As-Built documentation and guidelines for preventive HVAC maintenance in corporate facilities were handed over. Both branches opened on schedule, offering Egypt's business community an inspiring, thermally balanced workspace.
